We show that if the dual of a foliation on a compact Kaehler manifold is non pseudoeffective, then the foliation is induced by a meromorphic map. This extends the results of Campana-Paun and of Druel, which were proved for projective varieties. As an application, we can show that a compact Kaehler manifold is uniruled if and only if its canonical line bundle is not pseudoeffective.
